This EFORT Educational Webinar will focus on conservative and operative treatment of acetabular fractures in the elderly, with the following objectives: 

  • Recognize the challenge of acetabular fractures in the elderly.
  • Explain the indications for conservative, internal fixation or total hip arthroplasty.
  • Apply techniques of internal fixation alone.
  • Apply techniques of total hip arthroplasty.
  • Analyse treatment failures and recognize possible pitfalls in treatment.
