The objectives of this Webinar are:


  • Understand the key principles and current strategies for salvaging ankle fractures, including when to pursue reconstruction versus further corrective procedures.

  • Identify and manage the main causes of poor outcome after ankle fracture treatment, with emphasis on postoperative stiffness, osteochondral lesions, and malunion.

  • Apply practical decision-making frameworks to optimize patient selection, timing, and technique in complex ankle fracture salvage scenarios.
