LEARNING OBJECTIVES

This EFORT Educational Webinar will focus on the application of 3D surgical planning and patient-specific techniques in the treatment of tibial fractures, from the acute setting to the correction of post-traumatic deformities. 

Through clinical cases, the webinar will demonstrate how 3D technology can support diagnosis, surgical planning, intraoperative guidance, and deformity correction. The objectives of this webinar are to:

  • Understand the principles and indications for 3D surgical planning in acute tibial plateau fracture surgery.
  • Recognise the role of 3D technology in the correction of post-traumatic malunions and non-union of the proximal tibia.
  • Learn how patient-specific guides and virtual planning can improve surgical accuracy and facilitate complex reconstructions.
